Visual form

Grouped stacked bar chart.

Layout / body structure

The chart is arranged as three thematic groups of horizontal stacked bars: who we are, how we operate, and how we grow. Read top to bottom within each group, then compare the relative width of bold moves, bold plans or pilots, and neither across the nine imperatives.

What is being compared

The chart compares how often top-performing companies are making or considering bold moves across nine organizational imperatives. It compares the distribution of action levels for purpose, value, culture, structure, decision making, talent, ecosystem, tech platforms, and learning.

Measurement system

The measurement is percent share out of 100 for each imperative. Each horizontal bar is split into dark, medium, and light segments corresponding to bold moves, bold plans or pilots, and neither.

Visible structure inside the graphic

Nine horizontal bars are grouped under three section headers, with distinct color families for each section. The dark left segments carry bold-move figures such as 83, 30, 17, 10, 17, 47, 83, 73, and 20, while the middle segments show the share planning or piloting and the pale right segments show the remainder.

Main takeaway from the visual

The strongest companies are not concentrating bold action in just one area; they are acting across all nine imperatives, though some areas are clearly more advanced than others. The longest bold-move segments appear in purpose and ecosystem, while value, culture, structure, and learning lean more heavily toward planning or pilots.

Key standout values or extremes

Purpose and ecosystem are the highest bold-move categories at 83 percent each, and tech platforms is also very high at 73 percent. Talent reaches 47 percent bold moves, while structure is the lowest at 10 percent and learning is low at 20 percent, paired with a large 60 percent planning-or-pilot share.
