For what Day was it postponed?	12	Meccan	5634
For the Day of Judgement.	13	Meccan	5635
And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement?	14	Meccan	5636
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.	15	Meccan	5637
Did We not destroy the former peoples?	16	Meccan	5638
Then We will follow them with the later ones.	17	Meccan	5639
Thus do We deal with the criminals.	18	Meccan	5640
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.	19	Meccan	5641
Did We not create you from a liquid disdained?	20	Meccan	5642
And We placed it in a firm lodging	21	Meccan	5643
For a known extent.	22	Meccan	5644
And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.	23	Meccan	5645
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.	24	Meccan	5646
Have We not made the earth a container	25	Meccan	5647
Of the living and the dead?	26	Meccan	5648
And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.	27	Meccan	5649
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.	28	Meccan	5650
[They will be told], “Proceed to that which you used to deny.	29	Meccan	5651
Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns	30	Meccan	5652
[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame.”	31	Meccan	5653
Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress,	32	Meccan	5654
As if they were yellowish [black] camels.	33	Meccan	5655
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.	34	Meccan	5656
This is a Day they will not speak,	35	Meccan	5657
Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.	36	Meccan	5658
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.	37	Meccan	5659
This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples.	38	Meccan	5660
So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.	39	Meccan	5661
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.	40	Meccan	5662
Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs	41	Meccan	5663
And fruits from whatever they desire,	42	Meccan	5664
[Being told], “Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do.”	43	Meccan	5665
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.	44	Meccan	5666
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.	45	Meccan	5667
[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.	46	Meccan	5668
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.	47	Meccan	5669
And when it is said to them, “Bow [in prayer],” they do not bow.	48	Meccan	5670
