And when the [contents of] graves are scattered,	4	Meccan	5833
A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.	5	Meccan	5834
O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,	6	Meccan	5835
Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?	7	Meccan	5836
In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.	8	Meccan	5837
No! But you deny the Recompense.	9	Meccan	5838
And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,	10	Meccan	5839
Noble and recording;	11	Meccan	5840
They know whatever you do.	12	Meccan	5841
Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure,	13	Meccan	5842
And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire.	14	Meccan	5843
They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense,	15	Meccan	5844
And never therefrom will they be absent.	16	Meccan	5845
And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?	17	Meccan	5846
Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?	18	Meccan	5847
It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah.	19	Meccan	5848
