Temporal-environment descriptor.
The degree to which future energetic opportunities or constraints can be inferred from current conditions, past regularity, environmental cues, or endogenous timing systems.
Predictability is not the same as low variability. A strongly seasonal environment can be highly variable but highly predictable.
