SURAH 93 — Ad-Ḍuḥā — الضحى — “The Morning Brightness”

• Revelation Order: 11
• Event Anchor: Early Meccan reassurance after a pause in revelation (c. 610–614 CE)

Explanation:
Ad-Ḍuḥā was revealed during a period when revelation temporarily paused, causing the Prophet distress and allowing opponents to claim that God had abandoned him. The surah responds with tender reassurance, affirming divine care and reminding Muhammad of past blessings and future promise. Its soothing tone aligns with the early years of prophethood, when emotional volatility and external mockery were common. The surah anchors itself to a moment of vulnerability, providing spiritual stabilization at a critical early stage.
