Audio-Specific Fields
These eight values are extracted from each individual Audio file. They report the detected format and codec profile, measured timing and sampling facts, encoded rate, and the file-level analysis outcome. Unavailable measurements remain empty rather than receiving extension-based placeholders.
Reports the format and version detected from the file itself, including its parsed container or bitstream identity. It is not inferred from the filename extension.
Reports the codec and its detected profile or mode from the primary audio stream, such as AAC LC, MP3, Vorbis, or a declared PCM representation.
Stores the measured playable duration rounded to milliseconds. A missing duration remains empty instead of being replaced by zero.
Reports the primary audio stream's detected sample rate in hertz. It remains empty when the parser cannot measure a sample rate.
Reports the detected number of channels in the primary audio stream. It remains empty when no audio stream can be measured.
Reports declared sample precision when the stream exposes a meaningful bit depth, especially for PCM audio. Compressed formats that do not declare one remain empty.
Reports the detected average encoded audio rate in bits per second. It remains empty when the stream or container does not provide a measurable rate.
Records the file-level extraction outcome: Analyzed, Empty, Partial, Unsupported, or Failed. The status distinguishes a legitimate absence of measurements from an extraction failure.
